OUR STORY

Simply put, at Sweet Meadow Hives we have a passion for bees! And with that passion comes our commitment to raising awareness to the importance of bees in nature, the dangers they face and how sustainable beekeeping is the way of the future.  

In 2016 two like-minded beekeepers came together with an idea to bring sustainable beekeeping into our everyday life. Like many people and companies feed birds, plant beautiful flowers and participate in recycling programs, beekeeping is another way to give back to nature for all that we take. It is said that 8 out of 10 bites of food we take is only possible from the pollination of bees. It is scary to think that bees are on the decline and foods ranging from Almonds to Apples and Walnuts to Watermelon could vanish without them.
